2013/2014 NFL Super Bowl Predictions

The defending champion New York Giants will have their hands full repeating in 2013, but I have gone and predicted them to 3-peat. Assuming the Giants make the Super Bowl in 2013, I predict the AFC representative will be the Baltimore Ravens. In what should have been the Super Bowl match-up in 2012, the Ravens will fall short with a less superior QB at the helm in Joe Flacco by a final score of 30-17. The following year the Chargers will make the Super Bowl in what will be the first year without Norv Turner at Head Coach. Eli will prove he was worth the draft day trade once again with a game winning drive for a 23-21 victory.

What hogwash is this. Giants aren’t even going to make Playoffs in 2012. No love for RGIII and the Skins, division champs??

    • Lets not get ahead of ourselves… They need to beat Dallas first, which I think and hope they will. I am certainly impressed with RG3 and the Skins, I didn’t see them having this much success this early. Are you concerned at all with RG3’s durability going forward, or do you think he will evolve his game to protect his body from unneeded hits?

teams who has the superbowl at there home most likely dont make it to the playoffs for example saints has a superbowl at there home and they didnt make it to the playoffs and Colts had the superbowl at there home and they didnt make it to the playoffs

    • Do you think if a team was to make it to the SB in their home stadium it would be an advantage or do you think the SB crowd would have balance and a field isn’t really an advantage in the end?

    • Why? because before the season started they had the most continuity out of the teams in their division. Obviously I didn’t anticipate them being that bad. However, if you read my post where I made predictions when the actual playoff schedule was released (https://sportseat.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/2013-playoffs-revisions.jpg), I only made 2 wrong picks all playoffs, and correctly chose the correct Super Bowl matchup and outcome…. But I guess you had the Ravens picked all along, right?
